Demo brand · Biscuits · made by our CMO machine

We made Bramblecote Bakehouse a week of marketing. From one packshot.

Four images from one packshot, a newsletter and five posts. Our CMO machine did it in minutes. With you, it does this every week, on your own data, and waits for your yes before anything goes out.

How it works

Bramblecote Bakehouse is a fictional brand we created to show what our CMO machine makes. Any likeness to a real brand is accidental. For your brand, the machine does the same with your own products.

02 · Newsletter

A newsletter, written and waiting for your yes.

In your voice, built around one product and one reason to buy it this week. The machine sends only after you approve, and follows up only with people who opened.

A proper teatime, with hedgerow fruit

Some afternoons call for nothing more than a pot of tea and something good to dunk. Our Oat & Blackberry Biscuits are baked in small batches in Somerset, with fruit from local hedgerows. Here's our favourite way to enjoy them: lay a few on a plate, add a small bowl of fresh blackberries if you have them, and put the kettle on. Break a biscuit in half, take it slowly, and let the oats do their work.

No rush. No emails. Just the sort of quiet fifteen minutes the day rarely offers. Share them with someone nice, or don't.

We won't tell. Find a packet at your local independent shop, in the supermarket, or in our web shop.

What Ziild CMO is

Three people and a freelancer. Or one director and a machine.

We have sat in the CEO's chair and signed the marketing invoices. Most of the money went into producing things. Very little went into knowing what worked. So we built the department we wanted. It plans, writes, makes images, publishes and measures, every day. Your marketing director steers it in about five hours a week.

Today
  • Marketing director, two people, freelancers.
  • Most of the week goes into producing.
  • A newsletter a month. Posts when someone has time.
  • Results reported as "the campaign went well".
With Ziild CMO
  • Marketing director and the machine.
  • 5 hours a week on operations. The rest on ideas, partners and sales.
  • Email, social, sites and ads every day.
  • Every pound of spend next to the sales it made.

How it starts

Live in two weeks. Nothing to hire.

1. 15 minutesYou tell us where you sell and what you want more of. We show the machine on your products.
2. Week oneWe connect your site, product photos, email and social accounts. Your tone and your legal limits go into the rules.
3. Every day afterThe machine plans, writes, makes images and schedules. You get one message: approve or change.
4. Every monthA two-minute report: what went out, what it cost, what it sold, what needs a decision.

It's a machine. It still asks.

Your brand stays yours.

Nothing goes public without a yes.
Emails, posts, ad spend, site changes.
Facts come from your records.
Prices, claims and awards never come from the model.
Your tone and the law, in code.
Checked before anything can be sent. HFSS and alcohol rules included.
Your accounts, your data.
Every action logged. Leave any month.

Why we built it

I have run companies. I have hired the agencies, paid the freelancers and sat through the reports that said the campaign went well. So I built the marketing department I wanted myself. Fewer meetings. More output. Numbers I can take to the board.
